All our mediators are members of the professional membership organisations which make up the Family Mediation Council. We previously worked for the Family Mediation Service at the Institute of Family Therapy (IFT) which achieved a high level of recognition, in particular for its specialist work on mediating issues affecting children.
Nasrin worked for over 10 years as a Family Mediator at the Institute of Family Therapy before co-founding Central Family Mediation. Nasrin mediates on all issues arising from separation and divorce and is experienced in dealing with difficult parenting disputes, high value financial disputes and cases in which one parent wishes to relocate abroad.
Nasrin is a Family Mediation Professional Practice Consultant, supports trainee mediators in their readiness to practice and their portfolio development. She is recognised by the Legal Services Commission as qualified to undertake publicly funded mediation and is a Family Consultant in Collaborative Practice.
A member of National Family Mediation and Resolution, Nasrin is qualified to consult directly with children and is trained to deliver the Separated Parents Information Programme which supports parents who are in court proceedings over their children.
Judith has 18 years of experience as a professional Family Mediator working in both in the private and not-for-profit sectors. She offers family mediation on all issues and is qualified and experienced in working directly with children in order to understand their views and contribute them to the mediation process. She is licensed by the Legal Services Commission to offer Family Mediation to Legal Aid clients. She is qualified to deliver the Separated Parenting Information Programme.
A former Family Mediator, Supervisor and Manager at the Institute for Family Therapy in London, Judith is also a family mediation Professional Practice Consultant, supervising Family Mediators in a number of services, and advising legal firms and other mediation service providers on best practice and meeting quality standards. Judith is a member of National Family Mediation, the Family Mediators Association and Resolution.
Judith holds a Masters Degree in Mediation and Conflict Resolution from Birkbeck College, University of London, and originally trained as a Social Worker.
Caroline is a qualified Family Mediator, a member of the Family Mediators Association and an affiliate member of Resolution. She is a Family Mediation Council Accredited Mediator for “All Issues Mediation” which includes child arrangements and property and finance.
Caroline trained in law, practising as a solicitor for over 15 years in both the private and not for profit sectors. Focusing throughout her career on dispute resolution, Caroline gained considerable experience of working with individuals and families in difficult situations to find legal solutions.
Following her work as a solicitor, Caroline went on to provide advocacy and support for patients and their relatives to resolve disputes with health service providers. She helped them to build effective communication, find common ground and reach agreement.
Caroline has been a supervising solicitor for a busy London Law Centre, and is experienced in best practice management and the provision of Legal Aid Quality Mark services.
Isabel is a qualified Family Mediator and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Birkbeck College, University of London/Institute of Family Therapy..
She is a Family Mediation Council Accredited Mediator for “All Issues Mediation” which includes child arrangements and property and finance.
She is an experienced family mediator and has successfully worked with individuals, couples and families, supporting them to reach agreement on a range of issues including arrangements for children, division of property and finances, schooling and adoption issues. She volunteers in a Child Contact Centre supporting parents and families to develop successful contact arrangements for their children.
She also has a background in domestic violence, housing and homelessness prevention and social research which informs her mediation practice.
